The Youth Association for Peace and Development of the Balkans (YSPDB) was established in 1998 as an informal association of leaders from youth organizations. At the end of 2001, it was officially registered as a non-governmental organization according to Bulgarian legislation. Our members are young people, youth workers, experts and citizens.

We have the happiness and the opportunity to work in a team with profiled specialists in the field of youth work, psychology and non-formal education. In addition, to be part of a network with over 30 experts in various fields, who support the organization’s activities to varying degrees. 

We target young people, youth organizations, youth workers, professionals and institutions. It is implemented by conducting training activities, forums and conferences, supporting and organizing campaigns, exchanges, voluntary and educational initiatives, publishing and distributing materials, conducting research, analysis and consultations in the field of youth work and politics, intersectoral cooperation, promotion of legislative initiatives and activities related to cultural heritage protection.
