Diverse Minds, Inclusive Stages aims to spark a societal shift towards a deeper understanding and appreciation of neurodiversity and disability through the world of theatre. The project seeks to break down barriers, foster inclusivity, and cultivate a community that values diversity in all its forms. This initiative recognizes the importance of promoting a diverse and inclusive approach across education, youth, and community sectors.
Project Objectives
– Enhancing professional skills, equipping educators, healthcare providers, and professionals working with neurodivergent and disabled individuals with the tools they need to approach these conditions not as obstacles, but as opportunities for growth and inclusion.
– Promoting social inclusion through theatre using the power of performance to address the complexities of neurodivergence and disability, creating a platform for empathy and mutual understanding.
– Creating inclusive resources, developing guidelines and flexible resources that empower professionals and artists to foster inclusivity in their work, both in education and theatrical settings.
Planned Activities
– Research and content development on educational methods and theatre for inclusion

– Training Course in Barcelona to test the inclusive theatre model
– Local theatre performances involving the community in each partner country
– Finalization and dissemination of the guidelines and theatre model
