Think and Live Green (TALE) aimed to improve the skills, attitudes, and knowledge of youth workers on climate change, environmental sustainability, the EU Green Deal, and non-formal education, as well as mentoring and co-design. The ultimate goal was to enable them to reach other young people and become active agents of change within their local communities, promoting sustainability and environmental protection.

The world faced an unprecedented environmental crisis, and in response, young people across the globe called for climate justice, expressing their concerns and demands through peaceful protests, campaigns, and direct action. They acted as individuals but also connected with other young people by joining organizations, forming action groups, and creating informal movements. The energy, motivation, and creativity of young people were essential resources for driving change. Youth organizations played a crucial role in fostering interest in biodiversity and engaging young people in actions that protected it. For this reason, youth workers and trainers needed to be equipped with the tools and skills necessary to engage not only young people but citizens of all ages and backgrounds, promoting their active involvement in environmental protection.
